Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. What this covers
These terms govern the use of tarkovlab.com and of the Tarkov Lab desktop app for Windows. Installing or using the app means accepting them. The version in force is the one on this page.
2. What the app does
Tarkov Lab runs beside Escape from Tarkov and shows maps, quests and prices. It reads the log files and screenshots the game itself writes to your disk. It injects nothing into the game, does not read the game’s memory and modifies no game file.
Tarkov Lab is independent: no affiliation with, endorsement by or connection to Battlestate Games Ltd.
3. Licence
During the beta the app is free. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute it, and a licence key is individual — sharing or reselling a key can have it revoked.
4. The game’s own rules
Whether a companion tool may be used is decided by the game’s rules, which Battlestate Games sets and enforces alone. We do not control those decisions and cannot guarantee future compatibility or tolerance. Using Tarkov Lab is your choice, under the terms you accepted with the game.
5. Beta
The app is a pre-release build, made available for testing and feedback only: it is not a finished product and does not comply with Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 (Cyber Resilience Act). Features can change or disappear during the beta and bugs are to be expected.
Game data (maps, quests, prices) comes from community sources — mainly tarkov.dev and the Escape from Tarkov wiki — and can be out of step with the game, especially right after an update.
6. When the app becomes paid
Tarkov Lab will become a paid product after the beta. Beta users will be told in advance, and no payment is ever triggered without your explicit action. Full terms of sale — price, characteristics, right of withdrawal, legal guarantee of conformity — will be published before the first sale. Downloads and future purchases go through Whop (whop.com), under Whop’s own terms.
7. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our fault, under the conditions set by French law. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights French law gives you as a consumer.
8. Support and data
Support: support@tarkovlab.com or our Discord server. Personal data is covered by the privacy policy.
9. Law
These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another European Union country, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. In case of a problem, write to us first: most things get sorted that way.
